Dearest Jennifer,

Very few husbands can claim to know their wives as well as I know you.  I have literally watched you grow up.  We have watched each other grow up.  But I am not done growing and neither are you.  Every day brings new opportunities and new challenges and, as we face them, we learn a little more about ourselves and each other.  This seems like the kind of note that a high school or college graduate would receive.  I have to admit that when we were younger I expected us to have everything figured out when we reached 40; but I am so glad that we do not.  I love that we are on this journey together.  I don't want it to end and I don't think it will.  I look forward to many more years of living, loving, and learning with you.  We are such a great team with complementing strengths.  There is nothing that we cannot accomplish together.

I loved putting together this book.  It confirmed what I already knew: that you are a dynamic person with many talents and your life is enriched by the people who care deeply about you.  I loaded it with pictures and I have to say that we run with a pretty good looking crowd and the beauty in our life revolves around you.  There can never be enough pages to capture every memory and kind word but I hope this book represents at least a glimpse. So, please take a moment to bask in the thoughts and pictures of  a small sample of the huge community that loves you.
