Jen,

I count my lucky stars after every encounter with you that I have you as a friend.

I have learned so much from you about how I’d like to be as I move forward in this next chapter of my life. In the few years that we’ve grown closer I’ve learned from you that it’s possible to be:

• A mother who laughs with her children as much as she guides them to strive to be their best.
• A friend who spontaneously calls just to say she’s thinking of you and to lend a supportive ear.
• A mate who attracts someone who also seems to grow as a result of the pairing.
• A woman who remembers to be equally flexible and strong, whether in yoga class or life.
• A person who hears the optimistic organ player in the background when times are challenging.
