Dear Jen:

Happy 40th from the other side of 40! To celebrate your birthday, I just wanted to share some of my favorite memories of you: French class with you sitting in the center of the room, with a bandaid by your (left?) eye, camping in Maine (was it the Snake river?), attending birthday parties in second grade, after-school tennis practice with you crushing the ball over and over and over! It was great seeing you at the reunion, and I hope that we can all get together the next time I'm in Northampton. Michelle, Max, the soon-to-be-Alex and I will all toast you on your birthday. Welcome to your fifth decade!
